VG@P - Quattro Chairs
A fully upholstered lounge and side chair formed from four upholstered planes.
These four elements combine to create a structural unit which despite its lightness hides a surprising amount of comfort.
Exploring the possibilities of maximising comfort in the thinnest form possible CNC cut wooden frames were developed for the seat and back that support a tensioned pattern of bi-directional webbing.
When overlaid with different thickness and grades of foam these panels provided a kind of comfort normally associated much with larger and heavier furniture.
