Studio Feay - Trifold Stool
The sheet metal folding process, with its resulting details, drives the design language of this piece, with soft bends and highlighted edges and controlled junction lines all detailed and exquisitely fabricated.
Neil Feay are experts in aluminium and this table is formed from three identical aluminium parts, each with three folds, bonded to form a single structure.
This was selected for Michael Young’s 2016 exhibition Al[l] at the Grand Hornu in Belgium that celebrated aluminium in his body of work.
